Dental Office, Marlton, NJ
With seven desktops and one server, Dr. Smith was struggling to control costs associated with ongoing professional services and constant hardware and software upgrades. A typical desktop was costing the office around $1000 with software and hardware included. Desktops needed replacement every three years. Upgrades to software such as Microsoft Office, annual security software subscription and also annual professional fees contracts were cutting into the profit margin of the business. The office had two servers, each one costing around $3500. vVizion proposed a fully hosted solution that was all inclusive of software, hardware and support. After evaluating our solution for about a month, Dr. Dento saw the benefits. He signed an annual contract and has been very happy with our service since then.
Law Firm, Trenton, NJ
Having ten servers with sixty desktops was taking up all the time for computer administrator John who works at a law firm in Trenton. John was unable to focus on disaster recovery, business continuity and other business critical matters. When a server crashed with catastrophic failure, John had to order new hardware, wait for the hardware to arrive, reinstall Windows, and then restore all data from backup. This entire process took seven business days. If this failure had happened to a mission critical server, then John would be out of a job and the business would suffer a loss mounting to thousands of dollars daily. vVizion proposed our off‐site business continuity plan, in which we replicate mission critical servers with five minute intervals into our data center. In case of a disaster all John has to do is call us, and we will deliver his server to him as it was five minutes before crashing, and we can do this within twenty four hours.
Insurance Company, Princeton, NJ
Servers can grow like rabbits. Fifty servers were consuming all the available resources of a medium size insurance business in Princeton, NJ. The data‐center was not large enough, and they were considering co‐location of their servers with Rack Space. However, co‐location costs are expensive. vVizion came in and proposed virtualizing their servers. We did an extensive study in which we figured our which servers are suitable for virtualization. After doing the study we implemented our project plan, and managed to reduce the physical servers down to ten. These ten physical servers are hosting all the remaining forty servers. This has saved our customer thousands of dollars on a monthly basis, with respect to power usage, maintenance, management, hardware contracts and support.
We service customers in almost any industry. There is no specific industry that can benefit the most from our products.
